I’m really sure, and I can do both.
My method #1. A client application which has an external.ini-file and a keycontrolService, basically it takes keystrokes and put it in the.ini-file, but if the user press esc key it passes this keystroke to the keycontrolService so the service will execute a programm with a parameter “escape=Yes”.
