Activity backstack can be only root activity?
I have a question about the Android activity backstack.
I know that if an activity calls finish(), then it also gets removed from the backstack.
But the docs say that “This method removes an activity from the history list and optionally finishes it.” and “If this activity is the root of the history back to the previous activity (that is, is the parent of the activity that was brought to the top of the history list by the user), then this method finishes the current activity.”
This paragraph has made me confused.
If activity A calls finish() to activity B, then activity A is removed from the backstack (so B is removed from the backstack). But if activity A is the root activity, then it also calls finish() to activity B,
