AutoCAD Crack Product Key Full [March-2022]

This page describes how to use AutoCAD. To begin, we will assume you have already purchased and installed the latest version of AutoCAD and that the computer you are using is set up to run AutoCAD.

The detailed instructions on how to use AutoCAD, including specific steps for Windows, macOS, and Linux, are in Use AutoCAD.

Are you using Windows? See AutoCAD 2019, Windows, or AutoCAD 2020, Windows, to learn how to access AutoCAD for the first time.

Using AutoCAD Step 1 Select Launch AutoCAD and get started with the first application window in AutoCAD. When you launch AutoCAD for the first time, the first thing you see is the New Launch window. In the center of the window is an AutoCAD button.

On a Macintosh or Linux, the icon looks like a small red AutoCAD button.

On a Windows machine, the icon looks like a small red “i” (capital I) with a check mark inside.

Click the AutoCAD button to open the New Launch window.

To access the rest of AutoCAD, click the desktop or a launch bar icon. The first time you open AutoCAD, the first two windows you see are:

The New Launch window where you can choose AutoCAD settings.

Using AutoCAD Step 2 Enter the New Launch window. You can also open the New Launch window by clicking the AutoCAD button on the desktop or launch bar icon. The New Launch window is divided into five panes:

This diagram shows the New Launch window in AutoCAD 2020.

Using AutoCAD Step 3 Select Launch AutoCAD and click the AutoCAD button on the desktop or launch bar icon. The launch bar icon is a little red circle with a small AutoCAD icon inside.

AutoCAD displays its main launch window.

Using AutoCAD Step 4 In the center of the New Launch window are the text fields for setting AutoCAD preferences. You can use these fields to change how AutoCAD works. To access the settings, click the text fields. If you are using the AutoCAD button, AutoCAD displays the settings fields in the New Launch window. You will also see the settings fields if you are using the launch bar icon.
